Welcome to class 6
In Class 6 our teachers are Mrs Davis, Mrs Hussain and Miss Kasuji. We are looking forward to a fantastic year.
This year we have lots of fun and exciting things to learn so check out the curriculum map which shows you what we will be learning about.
Our newsletter goes into more detail about what we will be learning each term

All children have been set up with their new reading book. We will review the level of books as we are aware that all the children are returning with different experiences of home learning during lockdown. Children will be expected to read at least three times a week and bring their book to school every day.
Here is a list of recommended books for children to read before the end of Year 6.
Homework, which will be set every Friday, will be to read and discuss a book at home, and to complete the reading comprehension and maths homework set. Our new project will be set around World War Two. Spellings rules will also be given and children will be expected to find other words for the spelling rule. Please support your child at home by listening to them read and discussing the different spelling rules, encouraging homework projects and allowing them time to complete maths and English homework.
Please could I request that all children wear their PE Kit on a Wednesday. Children may come in their PE kit and wear it all day. Outdoor PE kit is highly recommended as we will be using the outdoor space more so please make sure children wear their school jumper or cardigan
