School Council
Our School Council is made up of two representatives from each class in school. These children write a brief manifesto explaining why children should vote for them. Elections are then held in each class and a representative elected.
Over the years the School Council have :
- been involved in Headteacher interviews
- been involved in design of school building improvements
- put forward ideas of how to make playtimes safer and more fun
- put forward ideas of how to improve personal hygiene (handwashing etc)
- chosen learning resources and books on behalf of the other children
- voiced concerns and ideas of their classmates
- been hosts at Interfaith week events

What have we done recently to improve our school and help others?
Organised various events to raise money and collect food for charity (Red Nose Day, Children in Need)
Organised a French themed and American themed Breakfast Club events
Bought new wet playtime toys and games with money raised at the school fair
Planned a Christmas Jumper Day
Met with our local MP Mark Eastwood to discuss issues affeccting our local community
